1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using the services provided by Steady Numbers Bookkeeping, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
2. SMS Messaging Program
Steady Numbers Bookkeeping operates an Application-to-Person (A2P) SMS messaging program to communicate with clients and prospects. Message types include: appointment reminders, consultation confirmations, service updates, follow-up notifications, and bookkeeping-related alerts.
Description of SMS Program and Messaging Use Cases
Our SMS program is designed to deliver transactional and marketing messages to help you manage your bookkeeping engagement with us. Messages may include: (1) appointment reminders and confirmations; (2) consultation scheduling and rescheduling notifications; (3) service status updates and completion notices; (4) follow-up communications regarding your financial records; (5) tax planning alerts and deadline reminders; (6) account notifications and important service announcements.
Instructions to Opt-Out (Text STOP)
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message confirming your opt-out. To re-enroll in SMS communications, reply START to any future message from us. Please note that opting out of SMS does not affect other forms of communication (email, phone calls) regarding your account.

Message & Data Rates Disclosure
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Steady Numbers Bookkeeping is not responsible for any charges incurred from your mobile carrier. Contact your carrier for details on applicable SMS rates and plans. Standard message and data rates will apply to all SMS communications sent and received.
Carrier Liability Disclaimer
Carriers are not liable for delayed, misdirected, or undelivered messages. Steady Numbers Bookkeeping does not guarantee delivery of SMS messages and is not responsible for any failure in delivery caused by your mobile carrier, network conditions, or other technical issues beyond our control. Delivery may be delayed during periods of high network traffic or due to carrier system limitations.
Age Restriction (18+)
Our SMS program and services are intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By opting in to receive SMS communications, you confirm and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the authority to agree to these terms on behalf of the phone number being used.

3. Service Description
Steady Numbers Bookkeeping provides professional bookkeeping services — including transaction categorization, bank reconciliation, catch-up and cleanup bookkeeping, QuickBooks Online setup, and monthly bookkeeping — to small business owners, online sellers, freelancers, and independent professionals across the United States. Payroll management, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, tax preparation, and e-filing are coming soon and are not currently offered as services.
4. Service Plans
Pricing is based on the value delivered to your business, determined during a private consultation. We do not offer flat-fee packages or hourly rates. Specific pricing, features, and terms are provided during your consultation and in your service agreement.
5. Client Responsibilities
To facilitate our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete financial records and documentation
- Grant us access to necessary accounts (bank, credit card, QuickBooks)
- Respond to inquiries within a reasonable timeframe
- Notify us of any changes to your business structure or financial situation
- Maintain confidentiality of login credentials and access information
6. Payment Terms
Payment for services is due according to the terms specified in your service agreement. Late payments may result in service suspension. We accept credit cards, ACH transfers, and other agreed-upon payment methods. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' written notice.
7. Confidentiality and Data Protection
Steady Numbers Bookkeeping maintains strict confidentiality regarding your financial information. All data is stored securely and treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable tax laws. We comply with HIPAA and other relevant data protection regulations.
8. Limitation of Liability
Steady Numbers Bookkeeping provides bookkeeping services and is not a CPA firm. We do not provide tax, legal, or investment advice. Tax preparation, e-filing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll services are coming soon and are not currently offered. While we use reasonable care in our work, we are not liable for:
- Client decisions made based on our recommendations
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Errors resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client
- Tax penalties or interest due to client negligence or failure to file required returns
Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid for services in the preceding 12 months.
9. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate the service agreement with 30 days' written notice. Upon termination, you are responsible for payment of all services rendered through the termination date. We will provide transition assistance as outlined in your service agreement.
10. Disputes and Disagreements
If you dispute charges or have concerns about our services, contact help@steadynumbers.com immediately. We will work to resolve the issue within 10 business days. Unresolved disputes may be subject to mediation or arbitration as outlined in your service agreement.
11. Use of QuickBooks and Third-Party Tools
Our services utilize QuickBooks and other third-party software. You agree to comply with the terms and conditions of these platforms. We are not responsible for service interruptions or issues caused by third-party providers.
12. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading financial information
- Engage in illegal activities or request services that violate laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Disrupt or interfere with our service delivery
- Share login credentials with unauthorized individuals
13. Intellectual Property
All content, templates, reports, and methodologies provided by Steady Numbers Bookkeeping are our intellectual property. You may use these materials solely for your business purposes and may not reproduce or distribute them without permission.
14. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
15. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
